By Aviashima Toom, Abuja The Nigerian Military disclosed that aggressive posture of troops in several operations across the 6 geopolitical zones have denied the perpetrators of insecurity the freedom of action after neutralizing 59 terrorists, arrested a total number of 88 criminals, 10 kidnappers, 20 gunmen and 19 suspected oil thefts and also rescued 88 kidnapped hostages within one week. In a statement signed by the Director Defence Media Operations, Major General Edward Buba on Friday in Abuja disclosed that, in the course of operations across the country troops recovered a total number of 68 weapons and 1,364 ammunition. From Aviashima Toom, Abuja  The Department of State Services (DSS) says it has launched investigation into Tuesday’s violent confrontation between its men and operatives of the National Correctional Service (NCoS) during the arraignment of suspended Central Bank of Nigeria governor, Godwin Emefiele, at a Lagos court.
