IGP Orders Withdrawal of Policemen From Unauthorized Nigerians

By Aviashima Toom, Abuja  The Inspector-General of Police (IGP), Kayode Egbetokun, has reiterates his resolve for the withdrawal of Police Mobile Force (PMF) personnel from unauthorized deployments.  He also stated that it is the duty of all Police Mobile Force Squadron Commanders to enforce this directive without delay, adding that a firm but gradual withdrawal from non-core assignments is underway. Egbetokun, who gave the directive Tuesday during the IGP Conference with Police Mobile Force Squadron Commanders at the Force Headquarters in Abuja, also said that concurrently, squadron sizes will be reviewed and reduced to ensure operational effectiveness and agility. From Aviashima Toom, Abuja  Heavily armed kidnappers who have been terrorizing Uzo-Uwani LGA and environ in Enugu State got what they did not bargain for when they laid ambush on the road preparatory to attack motorists that ply the area which leads to Umulokpa, headquarters of the agricultural rich, last week.   Unfortunately for them, the first vehicle they saw approaching their spot turned out to be the convoy of the local government boss, Bar. Fulani Herdsmen Should Leave Ubulu-Uku Farms, Our People Are Dying - Chief

By Odita Sunday  The Onishe Ezemu Traditional Prime Minister Of Ubulu-Uku kingdom in Aniocha South Local government area of Delta State, Chief James Asika Onwordi, also known as 'Ibori Ubulu' , has issued warning on Fulani herdsmen to leave their farms while calling on security agencies, Federal and State Government to intervene and protect the people of Ubulu-Uku kingdom in Aniocha South, Delta State from the menace of Fulani herdsmen.  The Onishe's call to action comes after a series of violent incidents, including the kidnapping and murder of several community members.
