Regional Policing Strategies: NPF, Interpol Collaborates for Effectiveness, Optimun Security

Hyacinth Iormem Alia, has called on those discrediting the youths of the state by calling them thugs, to immediately apologize and desist from such. From Aviashima Toom, Abuja The Inspector General of Police, IGP Kayode Adeolu Egbetokun, participated in a high-level meeting of the Regional Police Chiefs Committees Chairmen convened by INTERPOL in France today 26th April, 2024.  In a statement siged on friday by the Force Public Relations Officer, ACP Olumuyiwa Adejobi in Abuja, said the meeting, attended by senior officials including the President of INTERPOL, Major General Ahmed Naser Al-Raisi, aimed to enhance collaboration in addressing transnational organized crime. Nigeria, Cameroon Sign MoU on Ecosystem Conservation

From Aviashima Toom, Abuja The Federal Republic of Nigeria and the United Republic of Cameroon have signed a Cooperation Framework agreement on the transboundary Ecosystems conservation and suatainable management of forestry and wildlife resources. Nigeria's Minister of Environment, Balarabe Abbas Lawal and his cameroonian counterpart, Jules DoretNdongo both signed for their respectively countries. The implementation of the agreement aims to supervise and coordinate identified areas of cooperation, ensure special protocols are consistent with identified areas of cooperation, collaborate in the implementation of common transboundary programmes, and develop the institutional and mobilisation of funds for the implementation of common transboundary programmes.
