ESLF SPONSORS FIRST BATCH OF BENUE YOUTH TO CHINA FOR ADVANCED TRAININGS IN
VOCATIONAL SKILLS...

The first batch of ESLF sponsored youth are to depart for China to commence their vocational skills training.

This is coming as a follow up to the first ever Benue Youth Entrepreneurship Summit,
held last year June.

The set of Four; Msugh Agu, Adaga Terfa, Dam Viashima and Winifred Agu; will undergo a one month advanced training in leather and fiber works.

Other batches will follow subsequently as their
inclusion was constrained by the visa application
regulation process where not much people are
allowed to travel at once.

manufactures car parts.

Sending forth the quad, The Founder & Chairperson
ESLF, Dr. Mrs. Eunice Ortom thanked God for
giving her the grace, willingness and the vision to
involve youth as a point of interest in her intervention programme. She advised them to be cautious and wise in their dealings and to also explore any positive opportunities while on their training.

She said their selection is not by human favour but by their diligence that has stood them
out amongst many others. She prayed that God take them there successfully, protect their stay and bring them back safely.

In her remarks, Dr. Ortom appreciated her team, the ESLF Board Members and Staff. She also thanked the youth for availing themselves for such
opportunities and hopes other youth take advantage of the many projects that ESLF
proposes.

Mrs Saratu Orga, Board Member ESLF, encouraged
the beneficiaries to be steadfast saying the
seriousness which they showed that brought them
this far, should serve as a reminder to always be at
their best. She charged them to be good ambassadors for Christ, Nigeria and ESLF. Also
being a master trainer for some of the 300 youth, she confessed that, her students are doing very well baking, one of them has started off in the
business of making snacks for sale, and earning income for herself

Dr. Magdalyne Dura , Board Secretary ESLF, said this is the beginning of a revolution that will change the economic landscape of Benue. She asked God to bless Her Excellency, His Excellency the Governor, and this noble course. Saying
through her efforts, has changed the political, economic and social sectors of the state. She also appreciated the ESLF staff team
who have surpassed her expectations of them.

In response, the beneficiaries were overwhelmed with joy saying this is indeed a dream come true for them.

Terfa Adaga thanked ESLF for selecting him without any protocol from the Youth Summit where he displayed his products while recounting
his ordeal with approaching other government agencies that never yielded results.

Residents of FCT Pass Vote of Confidence on Wike

From Aviashima Toom, Abuja Coalition of FCT Indigenous Groups and FCT Resident Associations has passed a vote of confidence on the  FCT Minister, Bar. Nyesom Wike. The group also  urged him to continue his good works in the nation’s capital, saying the original inhabitants and the entire people of FCT were solidly behind him. The convener of the group, Adeyeye Olugbenga, made the call during a peaceful rally at the Federal Capital Development Authority (FCDA) Abuja, on Thursday.  The group called on President Bola Tinubu to ignore calls to remove Wike as the FCT Minister. The group said ” Some people have alleged that the FCT under Barr Wike has become the epicentre of controversy. They further questioned his land reforms and claimed that he was involved in land grabbing and dispossessing people of their properties. Hybrid Solar Panel Factory Soon To Take Off in Makurdi

From Aviashima Toom The Benue State Government has entered into partnership with the Shanghai Haitian Hospital, to facilitate academic and clinical interchange between Benue State University Teaching Hospital, Makurdi, in the areas of joint studies, training activities, and other educational exchanges of mutual interest. The government has also entered into partnership with Sinoki System Limited, for the establishment of a Hybrid Solar Panel Factory in Benue State. Signing the two Memorandums of understandings (MOUs) at the Old Banquet Hall of the Benue State Government House, Makurdi on Monday, Governor Hyacinth Alia said he was excited and optimistic that the partnerships will open many more doors of investments in the State, adding that his administration is willing to welcome more investors into the state.
