Gov. Alia Celebrates Predecessor at 63

Hyacinth Alia, congratulated his predecessor and the immediate past governor of the State, Chief Samuel Ortom, on the Occasion of his 63rd birthday.  This was contain in a statement signed on Tuesday by Chief Press Secretary, CPS to Benue State Governor, Sir Tersoo Kula in makurdi. Governor Alia says, celebrating 63 years in good health is a privilege, calling on Chief Ortom to savour the moment, and also take deep retrospection as an elder statesman. Isreali - Palestinian War: 630,000 Students Deprived Right To Education - Envoy

By Our Reporter  The Palestinian Ambassador in Nigeria, Abu Shawesh has said about 630,000 students are deprived of their right to education due to the ongoing war between Israel and Palestine. The Ambassador stated this while briefing journalist on Thursday in Abuja. According to him, "the Israeli war left 25,000 students dead, mimed or wounded and led to the destruction of 90% of government school buildings Shawesh also highlight numbers of causalities which he said includes women and children. "As of yesterday, September 11, the death toll had risen to 41,000, with 95,000 wounded and 10,000 still missing under the rubble and streets.
