JUST IN: APC may hold virtual NEC meeting within a week

The Victor Giadom-led National Working Committee of the ruling All Progressives Congress (APC) seems to have concluded plans to hold the National Executive Council meeting (NEC) where crisis rocking the party will be addressed.

It was gathered that the meeting may be held through teleconference.

A source disclosed further that Governors of the All Progressives Congress and relevant offices in the presidency are consulting with Giadom-led NWC towards quick resolution of the problems bedeviling the party.

The specific day the NEC meeting with hold is not known as at the time of writing this report

Gov. Alia Celebrates Predecessor at 63

Hyacinth Alia, congratulated his predecessor and the immediate past governor of the State, Chief Samuel Ortom, on the Occasion of his 63rd birthday.  This was contain in a statement signed on Tuesday by Chief Press Secretary, CPS to Benue State Governor, Sir Tersoo Kula in makurdi. Governor Alia says, celebrating 63 years in good health is a privilege, calling on Chief Ortom to savour the moment, and also take deep retrospection as an elder statesman. The Governor prayed to God to grant the former Governor more years ahead..
