Edo 2020: SDP Disown Mergers Claim with 34 Political parties to support PDP.

The Edo State Chapter of the Social Democratic Party (SDP) has disowned claim of Merging with other 34 political parties to support incumbent Governor Obaseki of the People Democratic Party in fourth coming governorship election in Edo State.

The party which described the claimed as false also disclosed that, 15 parties out of 18 are participating in the Edo gubernatorial election.

A letter of disclaimer signed by Edo state SDP Secretary of the party, Hon. Matthew Onaivi Michael, along side the State Publicity Secretary: Dr. H.E. Esangbedo, under the leadership of Professor Tunde Adeniran and Alh Shehu Musa Gabam as National Chairman and National Secretary respectively says no to the so claimed SDP and 34 other political parties merging with PDP to support Obaseki ahead of the September 19th gubernatorial election.

According to the letter of disclaimer.....

"Social Democratic Party (SDP) Says No to The False Claim of SDP Merging with 34 Other Political Parties To Support PDP in the 2020 Gubernatorial Election. 

"As Stated in The Press Release Dated 17th of July 2020.

"The Edo State Social Democratic Party (SDP) State Secretary: Hon. Matthew Onaivi Michael, along side the State Publicity Secretary: Dr. H.E. Esangbedo. Under the leadership of Professor Tunde Adeniran and Alh Shehu Musa Gabam as National Chairman and National Secretary respectively says no to the so claimed SDP and 34 other political parties merging with PDP to support Obaseki ahead of the September 19th gubernatorial election.

"Hon. Matthew Onaivi Michael Stated that its quite understanding at this point that a seating governor and a known national political party of the like of PDP is in need and could be in search for the support of  the third largest well spread national political party in Nigeria SDP and why they couldnt take their time to making findings and verifications of the leadership of this great party SDP within the state and even at the national level of the party and INEC, as it would have been a golden opportunity and a high level of assurance for the party's (PDP) victory, come September 19th at the poll.

"Its so unfortunate and revealing that The greedy shameless so called Collins Oreruan who was publicly disgraced out of the National Secretary of our credible party SDP in the year 2018 due to anti party activities and other incredible cruel acts of this kind could still present himself buplicly to a great national party as PDP, even as far as to national TV news impersonating as SDP state chairmanwithout any sense remorse over his supposed past which is now proven beyond doubt to be his lifestyle/ nature.

"Well! On behalf of the National and Edo State Leadership of the party SDP, We here by announce to the general public and advice PDP and 

Obaseki to wake up and face reality, else the part of collins a failure in which they are already treading is failure inevitable as SDP is too large for failures to toy with.

"Hence, the National Secretariat of our great party SDP is proudly located at 16, Nairobi Street Wuse, Abuja. and her state secretariat at 29 Omoruyi Street Off Sakponba Road, Benin City and INEC office of the state not hidden for finding and proofs.

"SDP has her governorship and deputy governorship candidates from the primary election poll with direct election type held on 25th of June, 2020; as Elder Felix Obayagbon and Dr. Mrs. Matthew Omonye respectively, all ways leads to the poll as victory awaits the white (pure democracy) jumping (for speedy development) horse ( with all round capacity and readiness to serve) come September 19, 2020.
