Police Inspector rape 13 year old female student in Benue.

A mobile Police inspector by name Joseph Enyi has been arrested and detained at Ugba Police station for raped of a 13 year old female student in Ayilamo, Tombo ward, Logo local Government area in Benue state.

The incident happened on Thursday, 12/11/2020 in Ayilamo.
Narrating how the incident on a telephone chat, a community leader in Ayilamo Hon Wuam Hilega said at about 5 pm on Thursday, a five female students of Tombo Community secondly School Ayilamo, were sent on errand by their game master to fetch water from a nearby hand dug well close to the Mobile police quarters

Hon. Hilega, stated that the mobile police man by named Inspector John, who was sleeping in front of his yard called one of the girls to come.

" The girl by named Philomena Torhile was afraid to come but the police inspector threatened her that if she don't come he will deal with her, so the other girls advised her to go becuase the police man was an officer " said Hon Hilega.

" But when Philomena Torhile approached the police inspector he immediately dragged her into the room, pulled, her cloths and raped her"

Hon. Hilega said that the rest of the girls ran back to the school and reported to the principal of Tombo community and other staff who mobilized to the house of the policeman and break the door open.

The police man was caught naked, while the girl was also breeding naked and crying.

There was tension in Ayilamo as angry youths pounced on the policeman and attempted to lynch him, but the timely intervention of the principal of Tombo Community Secondly school Mr. Aondona Akumbul saved him.

The youths however touched the police post in Ayilamo and smashed doors and windows.

A team of Operation Whirl Stroke who where called to save the situation also whisked away the inspector to Anyiin police station before he was transferred to Logo Divisional Police sration in Ugba on Friday.

The Divisional Police office in Ugba confirmed the incident and said the suspect will be transfered to Benue State Police Command in Makurdi for thoroughly investigation.

Residents of FCT Pass Vote of Confidence on Wike

The group also  urged him to continue his good works in the nation’s capital, saying the original inhabitants and the entire people of FCT were solidly behind him. The convener of the group, Adeyeye Olugbenga, made the call during a peaceful rally at the Federal Capital Development Authority (FCDA) Abuja, on Thursday.  The group called on President Bola Tinubu to ignore calls to remove Wike as the FCT Minister. Hybrid Solar Panel Factory Soon To Take Off in Makurdi

From Aviashima Toom The Benue State Government has entered into partnership with the Shanghai Haitian Hospital, to facilitate academic and clinical interchange between Benue State University Teaching Hospital, Makurdi, in the areas of joint studies, training activities, and other educational exchanges of mutual interest. The government has also entered into partnership with Sinoki System Limited, for the establishment of a Hybrid Solar Panel Factory in Benue State.
