Military Kill Several Armed Bandits in Chikwake Forest, Kaduna State - DHQ

By Aviashima Toom, Abuja  The Defence Headquarters says, its  Air Component of Operation THUNDER STRIKE has neutralized several armed bandits at Chikwale Forest in the Mangoro area of Chikun Local Government Area in Kaduna State.  In a statement signed on Sunday by the Coordinator, Defence Media Operations, Maj. Gen. Troops Neutralizes 2 Armed Bandits in Kaduna State -DHQ

By Aviashima Toom, Abuja The Defence Headquarters has disclosed that, it's troops of Operation ACCORD, yesterday successfully neutralised 2 armed bandits along Sabon- Iche- Kagarko road in Kaduna State.  In a statement signed on Tuesday by the Coordinator, Defence Media Operations, Maj. John Enenche in Abuja said own source affirmed that the suspects are part of the notorious bandits that have been terrorising the area. According to Enenche, The gallant troops have continued to dominate the area with aggressive patrols to deny bandits freedom of action. Promising that, the Armed Forces of Nigeria will not relent until all enemies of the Country are neutralised and normalcy is restored to all troubled zones.

By Aviashima Toom, Abuja The Armed Force of Nigeria says, its Air Task Force of Operation LAFIYA DOLE has destroyed some Boko Haram Terrorists’ (BHTs’) vehicles and eliminated several of their fighters along the Jakana axis of Borno State.  In a statement signed by the Coordinator, Defence Media Operations, Maj. Gen. By Aviashima Toom, Abuja The Military High Command says, its troops of Operation LAFIYA DOLE has inflicted heavy casualties on Boko Haram Terrorists (BHTs) in the Sambisa Forest and taken out their hideouts in Alagarno, including a compound housing some high-value BHT leaders in Borno state. By Doris Nnaji   Babagana Zulum The Borno Executive Council has approved N352 million for the operations of the Civilian Joint Task Force ( CJTF) and hunters, in the fight against insurgency in the state. The Commissioner of Information, Alhaji Babakura Abba-Jato, who made this known in a statement, on Thursday, in Maiduguri, noted that the approval was given at the first state executive council meeting of 2021, presided over by Gov. Babagana Zulum. Other approvals also given at the meeting, according the commissioner, included the rehabilitation of Maiduguri – Damboa road at the cost of N658m and the extension of an ongoing Benisheikh township road project at the cost of N231 million. He said the sum of N237 was approved for the construction of Ramat – Wulari road and drainage in Maiduguri metropolis. The Military high command, (DHQ), on Wednesday, in Faskari  Katsina State, said about 220 bandits have been neutralized during operations of it's troops of operation Sahel Sanity in the North West.
