CHIEF IKIMA WAS A COMPASSIONATE LEADER AND ROLE MODEL - Ubwa

The MD/CEO of Pleasure Travels Group Of Companies Dr. Paul Ubwa, wishes  to commiserate with the family, Kwande Area Traditional Council, the good people of Kwande Local Government Area, Tiv Area Traditional Council  (TATC) and the Benue State Government over the death of Ter Kwande III, HRH Chief Hilary Ikima who slept in the Lord on 18th January 2021.

Ubwa describes the demise of Chief Ikima as painful and unfortunate noting that he was a role model, who as a civil servant rose to the position of permanent secretary before he was called to lead his people.

He says the late Traditional Ruler of the Kwande Kingdom was  a compassionate leader and father to all, adding that he died when his fatherly advise is needed most.

He recalls the contributions of Chief Ikima to peace-building in his domain and between border communities of Kwande with other local government areas and states.

He says the late Traditional Ruler of the Ancestral Home of Tiv Nation will be remembered for providing good leadership and impacting positively on the lives of his people during his years of reign as TER KWANDE.

Dr. Ubwa once again sympathises with the Ikima family, the Kwande people and the Benue Traditional Rulers Council and prays that God grants the departed ruler eternal rest.
