2023: Dr. Ubwa Consults PDP G-14 Members in Benue

A Governorship Aspirant on the platform of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) in Benue State, Dr Paul Orkuma Ubwa has reaffirmed his commitment to the development of the State if given the opportunity to govern the state after the expiry of Governor Samuel Ortom’s, tenure in 2023.
The Benue 2023 top governorship contender made his position known Tuesday when he met with the PDP G-14 in continuation of his consultative meeting in Makurdi.
Ubwa, informed the G-14 members that he want to be governor in order to improve the socioeconomic wellbeing of the state
The aspirant further stated that the State was blessed with arable land, stressing that he would encourage Benue people to embrace dry season farming as well as mechanize agriculture.
He reiterated his commitment on security of lives and property, saying that he will strive very hard to tackle the menace, emphasizing that Governor Samuel Ortom had already paid a very solid foundation through the enactment of the Anti-Open Grazing Law.

In his remarks, Chairman of the PDP G-14 in Benue state, Hon. Laha Dzever, said the sole aim of the group was to ensure sanity amongst the members, urging the governorship hopeful to go ahead with his consultation, saying that they will be unbias with their decision 

In his remarks, elder Adza Ugba, who spoke on behalf of zone A said  poeple of the zone will access critically all the aspirants and bring out the best, urging him not to relent in consulting Benue people. 

He admonished all the aspirants to be United and always seat together as one family

On his part, Dr. Cletus Tyokyaa who spoke on behalf of the zone 'B' G-14 said the state has suffered in the areas of industry, with his wealth of experience in area of business, Benue will  witness massive industrial development.

Tyokyaa also said, Benue people have suffered in Nigeria, he appealed to Ubwa to ensure that Benue people were reunited and returned to their rightful position in the Nigerian map. 

He commended Mrs. Ubwa for her support to her husband and  urged them not to relent but extend consultation to the entire state.

He said that the poeple of the zone would give him their support

The G-14 also prayed for him and urged him go ahead with his  campaign.
