Lobi Stars Felicitate With Governor Samuel Ortom on Democracy Day.

The Board, Management and Staff of Lobi Stars Football Club heartily felicitate with The Governor of Benue State, His Excellency Dr Samuel Ortom and his amiable wife, Dr Mrs Eunice Ortom, The Board Chairman Lobi Stars/ Deputy Governor of Benue State Engr Benson Abounu on the the 22nd Democracy Day Celebration.

In a statement signed by the Executive Vice Chairman
Lobi Stars Football Emmanuel Tama Aondofar, noted that this Day which came in to been on May 29, 1999 when the journey of the longest uninterrupted democracy in the history of Nigeria began and later officially changed to June 12. Democracy Day as it portends guarantee the celebration of an all inclusive participation in governance, which is what Governor Ortom stands for.

According toTama, Governor Ortom's Love for his people  remains the Hallmark of his governance which earned him the title "Defender of the Benue Valley" which is enigmatic of the virtues and dividends of democracy that which we have joined him to celebrate today.

He also said that, the enduring democratic rule in Nigeria is the reason why there is stability in the football industry, the sector that which Lobi Stars exist, this same enduring democracy is the reason Lobi Stars under Governor Samuel Ortom is  enjoying seamless and uninterrupted financing.

"May the love of God and the true spirit of democracy continue to abide with us, The Government and people of the federal republic of Nigeria and particularly the Government of Benue State with the hope that the 22 years celebration shall ceaselessly become permanent and every reason that could threaten our oneness be declared anathema" he added.

Residents of FCT Pass Vote of Confidence on Wike

From Aviashima Toom, Abuja Coalition of FCT Indigenous Groups and FCT Resident Associations has passed a vote of confidence on the  FCT Minister, Bar. Nyesom Wike. The group also  urged him to continue his good works in the nation’s capital, saying the original inhabitants and the entire people of FCT were solidly behind him. The convener of the group, Adeyeye Olugbenga, made the call during a peaceful rally at the Federal Capital Development Authority (FCDA) Abuja, on Thursday.  The group called on President Bola Tinubu to ignore calls to remove Wike as the FCT Minister. The group said ” Some people have alleged that the FCT under Barr Wike has become the epicentre of controversy. They further questioned his land reforms and claimed that he was involved in land grabbing and dispossessing people of their properties. Hybrid Solar Panel Factory Soon To Take Off in Makurdi

From Aviashima Toom The Benue State Government has entered into partnership with the Shanghai Haitian Hospital, to facilitate academic and clinical interchange between Benue State University Teaching Hospital, Makurdi, in the areas of joint studies, training activities, and other educational exchanges of mutual interest. The government has also entered into partnership with Sinoki System Limited, for the establishment of a Hybrid Solar Panel Factory in Benue State. Signing the two Memorandums of understandings (MOUs) at the Old Banquet Hall of the Benue State Government House, Makurdi on Monday, Governor Hyacinth Alia said he was excited and optimistic that the partnerships will open many more doors of investments in the State, adding that his administration is willing to welcome more investors into the state.
