APC Congress: Benue South Adopts Omale as consensus candidate

By Our Reporter

The All Progressives Congress (APC) Benue South adopt Barr Omale Omale as its consensus candidate for the post of the party's State Chairman.

This is contained in a statement signed by Sen. Ameh Ebute and Mr Audu Ogbeh and issued on Saturday in Makurdi.

According to the statement, the leadership of the APC in Benue South had reached the decision to adopt Omale as the consensus candidate of the Benue South for the post of the State Chairman.

"The decision is a difficult one for the party leadership because the two aspirants that the race is eventually narrowed down to are equally competent, experienced and youthful.

"However, Omale is finally considered, in view of his previous position in the party's hierarchy.

"Omale has served meritoriously as the Legal Adviser of the APC in Benue State for the past eight years," the statement said.
