Group drums support for Akume APC Chairmanship Ambition

A group, AKUME for All Progressives Congress National Chairman Campaign Organization, AFANCO, has thrown it's weight behind the aspiration of the Hon. Minister, Special Duties and Inter-Governmental Affairs, Sen. George Akume, calling on him to take up the leadership of the party in the forthcoming convention.

Drector General of the group, Chief Patrick Open who made the call on Wednesday during a world press conference in Abuja said, their conviction was predicated on the fact that Sen. Dr. George Akume has served meritoriously as former Governor, Senator and now Minister of the federal Republic of Nigeria.

He also said that, the Minister has the Acumen to succeed Mai Mala Buni and lead the APC to a more Adventurous exploits and political conquest, bountiful harvests and national Prosperity than any other aspirant. 

According to him, Akume is tested, trusted and a certified Administration, moving through the ranks and ladder as a public officer, politician, and community leader. 

"His humanity and empathy is infectious. He is patient, focused and a bridge builder, a problem solver as well as an attentive listener. He is pragmatic, generous, calm and meek as a lamb. 

"He is the political gladiator and muster-point of North Central Nigeria and he possesses the magic wand that will positively increase the fortunes of our great party APC". He noted.

The DG explained that, AFANCO, AKUME for All Progressives Congress National Chairman Campaign Organization are Nigerian professionals drawn from all walks of life within and outside the shores of the country, with it's membership not restricted to tribe, region, state of origin, or social strata.

The group therefore called on Sen. George Akuma, for the love of Nigeria and Nigerians and lead the APC to it's expected Eldorado.
