Agada performs first official function as APC State Chairman


Aviashima Toom, Abuja

The State Chairman of the All Progressives Congress (APC), Comr Austin Agada, today in Kwande Local Government  performed one of his first official assignment as he reunites former House of Assembly member representing Kwande West State constituency, Hon Hemen Borko with the APC family. 

Others he received were Mr Felix Shom State secretary of the Social Democratic Party (SDP) , Emmanuel Jumper, a Unionist and politician and others who dump their party for the APC. 

Agada promised to do more of reunion and decamping to ensure the APC takes over leadership from the faid government of PDP in the state, an ensure Benue People enjoy divident of Democracy like other state in 2023. 

The fomer House of Assenbly Member, Hon Borko who reunited with the APC with thousands of his supporters, promised that the APC will win all elections in Kwande come 2023.

Residents of FCT Pass Vote of Confidence on Wike

From Aviashima Toom, Abuja Coalition of FCT Indigenous Groups and FCT Resident Associations has passed a vote of confidence on the  FCT Minister, Bar. Nyesom Wike. The group also  urged him to continue his good works in the nation’s capital, saying the original inhabitants and the entire people of FCT were solidly behind him. The convener of the group, Adeyeye Olugbenga, made the call during a peaceful rally at the Federal Capital Development Authority (FCDA) Abuja, on Thursday.  The group called on President Bola Tinubu to ignore calls to remove Wike as the FCT Minister. The group said ” Some people have alleged that the FCT under Barr Wike has become the epicentre of controversy. They further questioned his land reforms and claimed that he was involved in land grabbing and dispossessing people of their properties. NLC Demands Immediate Apology from Police, FG For Invasion, Desecration of Headquarters

From Aviashima Toom, Abuja  SAHEL ReportersNews The Nigerian Labour Congress (NLC) has demanded an immediate apology from the Nigerian Police Force and the federal government of Nigeria for the invasion and desecration of Congress headquarters during the #EndBadGovernance protest in Abuja. Head of Information and Public Affairs, of the Nigerian Labour Congress, Benson Upah stated this on Thursday while briefing newsmen at the Labour House  in Abuja, also demanded for an immediate and unconditional release of everybody detained in connection with the protest.
