Sen. Akpabio Expresses Confidence in Abdulahi Adamu Led NWC

The Minister of Niger Delta Affairs, Sen. Godswill Akpabio has expressed confidence in the new National Working Committee (NWC) of the All Progressives Congress (APC) led by its chairman Sen. Abdullahi Adamu.

The Minister, recently at a Ramadan Iftar with the APC National chairman in Abuja noted that, with the new leadership onboard indicated that alot has been stabilized in the party.

He said he is very proud of the APC. "We now have a leadership that address all injustice, all misgivings that will unite the party and ensure that we get ready for the task ahead, tackling insecurity in the country ochestrated by enemies of this country; ensuring that we continue beyond 2023 in a way that we will maintain the good legacies of Mr President and the good works that he has started for the benefit of all Nigerians.

"What you see here (iftar) is more of a national prayer session organised by stakeholders of the party in honour of the national working committee led by former governor Abdullahi Adamu. 

"My presence here signify that we have confidence in the party, we have confidence in the national leader, President Muhamadu Buhari that God has endowed with wisdom to lead Nigeria in this turbulent times and I am assuring all and sundry that we feel there are certain sectors that are not doing well, that the reality is that it would have been worst if we do not have a man of integrity. 

"It would have been worst if we don't have President Buhari in saddle of leadership at this time in Nigeria. Just imagine what would have happen to Nigeria with the kind of enemies both within and outside ganging up and conspiring against the safety and livelihood of Nigeria. But I give you my word, God is also not sleeping, God is with Nigeria, God will salvage the situation and with prayers offered by both the Christians and the Muslems in the concurrence of the Lent and Ramadan, I see great future, I see a better future for the good people of this country, for the APC and continuity of this government beyond 2023". He said
