Primary: FCT APC Youths protest alleged imposition of Abuzari Suleiman

The All Progressives Congress, APC, Youth Progressive Forum FCT, on Monday, faulted an alleged plot to impose a candidate for the  AMAC/BWARI Federal constituency seat in Abuja

The APC Youths under the leadership of Zaka Nehemiah as chairman and Tukura Daniel, who made this allegation at the National Secretariat of the party in Abuja,  further alleged that the leadership of the party has impose one Abuzari Suleiman on the Constituents.

They claimed that Abuzari who is alleglly the FCT minister's relation presently hold an appointment under the Minister and has refused to resign from the position despite wanting to contest for the Assembly seat.

Speaking with newsmen at the APC National Secretariat, they said: “we are writing to communicate our strong opposition to the attempted imposition Abuzari Suleiman Ribadu on the loyal members of our party in Bwari and AMAC. The said person connive with some saboteur o destroy our great party to upsetting the electoral process of the Bwari/AMAC federal constituency primary election.

"Some party members illigally altered the delegates list and replaced the authentic members whose names were sent from their wards. When we protest against the used if the doctored list at the venue of the Primaries, the committee chairman, Sylvester Monidafe  announced the postponement of the election in the spirit of fairness. We however woke up the next morning to a video of the same Monidafe announcing a concocted results for an election that never took place.

"It is Worthy to note that the people that Monidafe employed for the charade are previously suspended members of parties who were penalized for criminally tempering with the authentic list of delegates.

"Thus is not acceptable and if allowed to stand will lead to the destruction of our party in the FCT" they said.

The youth however demanded that "2INEC should not accept any name that is not from dully conducted primary election

That the party and INEC should conduct primary election within the additional stipulated six days extension giving by INEC for political parties to submit names of successful candidates to enable all aspirants participate in the election.

Also speaking, spokesman for the group Comrade Dajuman Solomon Gardam nites that they would not allow the FCT Minister and his cohorts to have their way by standing against the wishes of the progressives and majority.

That charade cannot continue, the seriousness of the matter is reflected in the withdrawal from the process by all other aspirants. We are by this letter calling on the leadership of our party and INEC to step in and enforce a redress

“Any attempt to change the narrative, will spell doom for the APC in FCT as a whole.” he said
