Ramadan Lecture: Be Persevere, Supportive to Your Homes, Muslem Women Urged

Chairman of the Compensation and 

Consumers Protection Tribunal (CCPT), Hajia Saratu Shafii, has urged Muslem women to continue to put more efforts despite challenges encounter in their daily activities.

Shafii, also admonished them to be supportive of their spouse in order to amiliorat suffering they may have be going through.

She stated this during the last weekly Ramadan lecture organization by Al- Habibiyya Islamic society in Abuja called on women to take practical steps towards building peace in their heart and homes.

She described women as an integral part of human development which she said must be empowered. "woman is a huge support to the house when she is entrepreneur, if she has money the stress on the husband is less and a huge support to the husband. 

"A lots of women are becoming widows, men having heart related problems due to financial stress. So if a woman is supportive as part of religious worship to the husband without been disrespectful, it will save the husband from untimely death". She said

Also speaking, Hamira of Al- Habibiyya society school, hajia Rakiya Gambo, noted that it is very important for women to think outside the box rather than really on begging. She said they can be trader and also looked around to see what they able to do differently.

She described the act of begging as  a sin and forbidden by Allah, according to her  

women don't need to beg, steal or prostitute to earn a living, saying they will give account on the last day how they have survived on earth.

Hajia Gambo insisted that every religion teaches morals and does not encourage indiscent behavior. She blamed parents for their children misbehaviors both at homes and schools. According to her every parents should be able to know the kind of child he or she raised by encouraging them to do the right thing.

She explained that, the parents mode of dressing affects the children positively or negatively "our daughters learn from us because we have seeing a situation where a child is discipline for indescent behavior, the mothers are the first to come and fight, what are you raising in that child? So such should be addressed from the home. And Al-habibiyyah have been propagating proper up bringing for our daughters and the boys". She said.

She therefore advised parents to be friends with their children so that they will be able to open up and also aquire to know when they wears straing behaviors.
