NAFSAINT Graduates 48 Personnel--Commandant

By Our Reporter  The Nigerian Air Force School of Air  Intelligence (NAFSAINT), Nigerian Air Force Base, Makurdi on Friday graduated 48 personnel.  The Commandant of the school, Air Commodore Emmanuel Ukpong, disclosed this during the combined graduation ceremony of the Basic Intelligence Analysis Course 2/2022 and the Basic Intelligence Supervisor Course 6/2022 held in Makurdi. The commandant disclosed that 48 Air Force personnel were enrolled in the two courses and all of them were found worthy in character and learning, emphasizing that all of them had graduated. By Chidi Omeje Nigerians woke up Thursday morning to a grisly picture splashed on the social media of a battered female personnel of the Nigeria Police Force drenched in the pool of her own blood. The vexatious story behind the ghastly picture was that the Policewoman was brutalized to a point of near-death, reportedly by a female professor she was attached to as an orderly or for whatever role. The lady professor who was later identified as Zainab Duke Abiola, according to the story, procured the assistance of her other aides to physically assault the police officer for yet to be disclosed reasons. Professor arrested for allegedly ‘beating up police orderly who refused to do house chores’

By Aviashima Toom, Abuja The police have arrested a lawyer and human rights activist, Prof. Zainab Abiola for allegedly assaulted her orderly in Abuja. The alleged assault, it was gathered, followed the refusal of her orderly – Inspector Teju Moses to do house chores for her. Abiola was said to have been arrested alongside her housemaid, Rebecca Enechido after a video clip went viral on Wednesday. In the video, the officer is seen in uniform bleeding, seated on the floor and asking to be taken to the hospital for medical attention. Aviashima Toom, Abuja  The Department of State Services (DSS) has advised the public against unguided utterances on the arrest and the ongoing investigation of Tukur Mamu. The Public Relations Officer DSS Dr. Peter Afunanya made this known in a statement signed on Sunday in Abuja. Dr Afunanya said the DSS is following with keen observation, overzealous comments by sections of the public in view of issues relating to the arrest and investigation of Tukur Mamu. He said the Service wished  that its effort is not distracted with some of the skewed narratives pervading the media space. The service however advised the public to cease unguided utterances and allow it to concentrate on the ongoing investigations, the outcomes of which have remained mind-boggling. Dr Peter Afunanya disclosed that meanwhile, the Service will cease further comments on the subject matter since the Court will determine its course.
