Troops Kill Bandits, Recovers Arms Ammunition in Katsina, Kebbi and Zamfara States

Military says it's troops of Operation FOREST SANITY deployed at Danali in Danmusa LGA of Kastina State while on fighting patrol along road Maidabino- Danmusa encountered and engaged terrorists in a fire fight in which 2 bandit were neutralized, while two (2) Ak 47 rifles and three (3) MCs were also recovered.

Also on 18 January 2023, troops of Operation FOREST SANITY while on fighting patrol to Dunya in Danmusa LGA of Katsina encountered terrorists at Dangeza Village Troops engaged the terrorists in a fire fight and neutralized one (1), troops also recovered one ( 1 ) AK 47 rifle mounted on a motorcycle with two (2) magazines, and one (1) Baofeng HHR. 

This was contain in a statement signed by the Director, Defence Media Operations, DMO, Major-General Musa Danmadami in Abuja said on the same day, troops conducted clearance operation to Malekachi, Munhaye, Awala, Mairairai, Kabari villages in Danko-Wasagu and Maru Local Government Areas of Kebbi and Zamfara States respectively.

It says, Troops made contact with terrorists at various locations and a fire fight ensued. Following the encounter, troops neutralized seven (7) terrorist , recovered four (4) vehicles and eight (8) motorcycles which were destroyed. Troops also recovered three (3) AK 47 rifles,  one (1) SMG, thirty two (32) rounds of 7.62mm special ammunition,one (1) Baofeng radio, two (2) laptops and ten (10) mobile phones amongst others items.

The military high command commended troops of Operation FOREST SANITY and encouraged the general public to avail troops with credible and timely information on criminal activities.

Residents of FCT Pass Vote of Confidence on Wike

From Aviashima Toom, Abuja Coalition of FCT Indigenous Groups and FCT Resident Associations has passed a vote of confidence on the  FCT Minister, Bar. Nyesom Wike. The group also  urged him to continue his good works in the nation’s capital, saying the original inhabitants and the entire people of FCT were solidly behind him. The convener of the group, Adeyeye Olugbenga, made the call during a peaceful rally at the Federal Capital Development Authority (FCDA) Abuja, on Thursday.  The group called on President Bola Tinubu to ignore calls to remove Wike as the FCT Minister. The group said ” Some people have alleged that the FCT under Barr Wike has become the epicentre of controversy. They further questioned his land reforms and claimed that he was involved in land grabbing and dispossessing people of their properties. Hybrid Solar Panel Factory Soon To Take Off in Makurdi

From Aviashima Toom The Benue State Government has entered into partnership with the Shanghai Haitian Hospital, to facilitate academic and clinical interchange between Benue State University Teaching Hospital, Makurdi, in the areas of joint studies, training activities, and other educational exchanges of mutual interest. The government has also entered into partnership with Sinoki System Limited, for the establishment of a Hybrid Solar Panel Factory in Benue State. Signing the two Memorandums of understandings (MOUs) at the Old Banquet Hall of the Benue State Government House, Makurdi on Monday, Governor Hyacinth Alia said he was excited and optimistic that the partnerships will open many more doors of investments in the State, adding that his administration is willing to welcome more investors into the state.
