Troops Neutralise Bandits, Recover Arms and Ammunitions in Kaduna State.

Military says it's Troops of Operation FOREST SANITY has Neutralized bandits, while arms and Ammunitions where also recovered along road Kanti- Tantatu in Kubusu Forest, Chikun Local Government Area of Kaduna State.
This was contained in a statement signed by the Director, Defence Media Operations, DHQ, Major General, Musa Danmadami in Abuja.

He said the feet was achieved when troops conducted ambush operation at suspected bandit routes along the area.

According to him, Troops made contact with terrorists following a fierce fire fight, neutralizing five (5) terrorist while others fled with gunshot injuries.

He added that Troops exploited the general area and recovered four (4) AK 47 rifles, four (4) AK 47 magazines, twenty-two (22) rounds of 7.62 mm special ammunition and two (2) motorcycles among other sundry items.

He also said, on the same day, troops while on fighting patrol  to KASO general area in KAJURU Local Government Area of Kaduna State meet with terrorists. "The terrorists mounted on motorcycles on sighting troops fled abandoning some of their weapons. "Troops recovered two (2) magazines of AK 47 rifles, two (2) rounds of 7.62 mm special, one (1) matchet, two (2) mobile phones and assorted charms". He disclosed 

The military high command commended troops of Operation FOREST SANITY and encouraged the general public to avail troops with credible and timely information on criminal activities.

Residents of FCT Pass Vote of Confidence on Wike

From Aviashima Toom, Abuja Coalition of FCT Indigenous Groups and FCT Resident Associations has passed a vote of confidence on the  FCT Minister, Bar. Nyesom Wike. The group also  urged him to continue his good works in the nation’s capital, saying the original inhabitants and the entire people of FCT were solidly behind him. The convener of the group, Adeyeye Olugbenga, made the call during a peaceful rally at the Federal Capital Development Authority (FCDA) Abuja, on Thursday.  The group called on President Bola Tinubu to ignore calls to remove Wike as the FCT Minister. The group said ” Some people have alleged that the FCT under Barr Wike has become the epicentre of controversy. They further questioned his land reforms and claimed that he was involved in land grabbing and dispossessing people of their properties. Hybrid Solar Panel Factory Soon To Take Off in Makurdi

From Aviashima Toom The Benue State Government has entered into partnership with the Shanghai Haitian Hospital, to facilitate academic and clinical interchange between Benue State University Teaching Hospital, Makurdi, in the areas of joint studies, training activities, and other educational exchanges of mutual interest. The government has also entered into partnership with Sinoki System Limited, for the establishment of a Hybrid Solar Panel Factory in Benue State. Signing the two Memorandums of understandings (MOUs) at the Old Banquet Hall of the Benue State Government House, Makurdi on Monday, Governor Hyacinth Alia said he was excited and optimistic that the partnerships will open many more doors of investments in the State, adding that his administration is willing to welcome more investors into the state.
