Troops Neutralised 6 As Army Liutenant Dies in Ambush

Military say its troop of Operation HADIN  KAI have neutralrized 6 Terrorist at their hide out in Timbuktu Triangle in Borno State.

in a statement signed by the Director, Defence Media Operation, DMO, Major General Erdwad Buba also disclosed that troops lost a Lieutenant that was killed in action during an ambush along Road  Buratai - Buni Gari. While 4 personnel were wounded and receiving treatment.

He said Troops reinforcement pursued the terrorist to their hideout within the Timbuktu Triangle and made contact, Troops neutralised 6 of the terrorist recovering 5 AK 47 rifles and 103 rounds of the 7. 62mm special ammunition.  Adding that the remaining terrorist ran in dissaaray. However, troops are in hunt of the remnant terrorist that fled the firefight.

Residents of FCT Pass Vote of Confidence on Wike

From Aviashima Toom, Abuja Coalition of FCT Indigenous Groups and FCT Resident Associations has passed a vote of confidence on the  FCT Minister, Bar. Nyesom Wike. The group also  urged him to continue his good works in the nation’s capital, saying the original inhabitants and the entire people of FCT were solidly behind him. The convener of the group, Adeyeye Olugbenga, made the call during a peaceful rally at the Federal Capital Development Authority (FCDA) Abuja, on Thursday.  The group called on President Bola Tinubu to ignore calls to remove Wike as the FCT Minister. The group said ” Some people have alleged that the FCT under Barr Wike has become the epicentre of controversy. They further questioned his land reforms and claimed that he was involved in land grabbing and dispossessing people of their properties. NLC Demands Immediate Apology from Police, FG For Invasion, Desecration of Headquarters
