SPSP Sets To Honour IGP Egbetokun With FESTSCHRIFT Book Launch ....,..Pass Vote of Confidence in him

The Nigeria Police Force, in association with security experts and the Society for Peace Studies and Practice (SPSP), is set to host the general public at the launch of a commemorative publication," Readings in Policing, Peace and Security” a Festschrift in honour of the Inspector-General of Police, IGP Kayode Adeolu Egbetokun, celebrating the exemplary leadership and contributions of the Inspector-General of Police to peace, security, and policing in Nigeria. 

This was contained in a statement signed by the Force Public Relations Officer ACP Olumuyiwa Adejobi in Abuja.

According to him, the book launch ceremony will take place on Tuesday, 20th of August 2024, at 12 PM at the Nigeria Police Resource Center, Jabi, Abuja.

He said that the prestigious publication features insightful contributions from renowned scholars, practitioners, and stakeholders in the field of peace, security, and humanitarian studies.

He added that the book highlights the IGP's visionary leadership, innovative policing strategies, and commitment to community engagement. The ceremony, which has the President of the Federal Republic of Nigeria, President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, GCFR, as the Special Guest of Honour, will bring together dignitaries, security experts, academics, and stakeholders to celebrate the IGP's achievements and reflect on the future of policing in Nigeria.

"This Festschrift book represents a testament to the IGP’s leadership and a valuable resource for future generations, reflecting the collective endorsement of both the individual and the administration led by IGP Egbetokun within the Nigeria Police Force". He said
