POWA Graduates 110 from Skills Acquisition Centre, As President Harps on Goodwill, Unity, Growth

The  Police Officers' Wives Association (POWA) President, Dr. Mrs. Elizabeth Egbetokun, has emphasized the vital importance of goodwill, unity, and growth within the nation during the recent POWA Annual Convention held in December 2024, at the POWA National Secretariat, Mambila Barracks, Abuja.
In a statement signed on Friday by the Force Public Relations Officer ACP Olumuyiwa Adejobi in Abuja noted that, the Convention which spanned a period of 3 days, from the 5th-7th of December, served as an avenue for the empowerment of scores of women and children of police families. 

According to him, during the Conference, the POWA President highlighted the commitment to empowering not only the wives of police officers but also the broader populace through valuable skills training and acquisition programs reminiscing on the success of the POWA 60th anniversary which saw the graduation of 110 participants from the POWA Skills Acquisition Center, Dei-Dei, Abuja.

It's says, POWA remains committed to its mission of advocating for the welfare of police families through education, skill development, and mutual support. The Association invites all community members to participate in future programs that aim to uplift and empower all women. Together, through goodwill and unity, we can foster an environment that nurtures growth and prosperity for all.
