EzekwesilI for burial January 23

The traditional burial rites of Victoria Ifechukwu Ezekwesili, JP (Nee Okeke-Anyichie) will begin January 22, 2025 at Abacha Idemili North Local Government Area, Anambra State by 10:00am.

A statement from  the family indicates that, the funeral arrangements will begin with a Nite of Appreciation which will hold on January 22,  2025  Ezekwesili's compound at Abacha Idemili North Local Government Area of Anambra State by 7:00pm.

The statement also stated that, the burial ceremony of  Ezekwesili, who died at age 83, will hold at  St. Peter's Church compound, Abacha Idemili North Local Government Area, Anambra State by 10:00am.

"She is survived by children, grand children and great grand children including a United States based old boy of famous St. Teresas College (STC), Nsukka, Chief Ben Ezekwesili". It's added

Gov. Alia Celebrates Predecessor at 63

Hyacinth Alia, congratulated his predecessor and the immediate past governor of the State, Chief Samuel Ortom, on the Occasion of his 63rd birthday.  This was contain in a statement signed on Tuesday by Chief Press Secretary, CPS to Benue State Governor, Sir Tersoo Kula in makurdi. Governor Alia says, celebrating 63 years in good health is a privilege, calling on Chief Ortom to savour the moment, and also take deep retrospection as an elder statesman.
