APC Clears All Seven Aspirants To Contest Anambra Primary Election

The All Progressives Congress (APC) Anambra State 2025 Gubernatorial Election Screening Committee, chaired by the former Governor of Katsina state, His Excellency, Ibrahim Shehu Shema, has cleared all seven (7) Aspirants to contest in the upcoming Anambra Governorship Primary Election slated for Saturday, April 5, 2025. 

This was contained in a statement on Monday signed by the National Publicity Secretary All Progressives Congress (APC) Felix Morka in Abuja 

According to the statement, The Aspirants cleared by the Committee are as follows:

1.Sir Paul Chukwuma 
2. High Chief Prof. Obiora Francis Okonkwo 
3. Hon. Prince Nicholas Chukwujekwu Ukachukwu 
4. Hon. Chukwuma Michael Umeoji
5. Valentine Chineto Ozigbo
6. Johnbosco Obinna Onunkwo
7. Edozie Madu

Accordingly, the Party has issued Certificates of Clearance to the Aspirants, today, at the National Secretariat in Abuja.  

One of the cleared Aspirants, Valentine Chineto Ozigbo, has been granted a waiver by the Party to contest the Primary Election.

All members of the Party, including new and old members, in Anambra state, are required to revalidate their membership as prescribed by the Party, ahead of the scheduled Primary Election.

From Aviashima Toom, Abuja  The Senate committee chairman on Anti-corruption and Financial Crimes, Distinguished Senator Emmanuel Memga Udende, has said his sponsorship of the bill to establish the Federal Medical Center Adikpo in Kwande Local Government of Benue state is to bring medical care closer to the people especially in times of emergency.
