NAFSAINT Graduates 48 Personnel--Commandant

By Our Reporter  The Nigerian Air Force School of Air  Intelligence (NAFSAINT), Nigerian Air Force Base, Makurdi on Friday graduated 48 personnel.  The Commandant of the school, Air Commodore Emmanuel Ukpong, disclosed this during the combined graduation ceremony of the Basic Intelligence Analysis Course 2/2022 and the Basic Intelligence Supervisor Course 6/2022 held in Makurdi. The commandant disclosed that 48 Air Force personnel were enrolled in the two courses and all of them were found worthy in character and learning, emphasizing that all of them had graduated. Ukpong explained that the basic intelligence analysis course is aimed at producing intelligence operatives equipped with the requisite security training that would enhance proficiency in intelligence analysis, evaluation, integration and interpretation to meet the Commander's intelligence requirement. By Chidi Omeje Nigerians woke up Thursday morning to a grisly picture splashed on the social media of a battered female personnel of the Nigeria Police Force drenched in the pool of her own blood. The vexatious story behind the ghastly picture was that the Policewoman was brutalized to a point of near-death, reportedly by a female professor she was attached to as an orderly or for whatever role. The lady professor who was later identified as Zainab Duke Abiola, according to the story, procured the assistance of her other aides to physically assault the police officer for yet to be disclosed reasons. By Our Reporter  The Small-scale Women Farmers Organization of Nigeria (SWOFON), has appealed to the Federal and State Governments to create a special intervention fund for women farmers to enable them increase food production in the country. IGP Calls For Review Of INEC’s Political Programmes, Ahead 2023 Election

By Aviashima Toom, Abuja  The Inspector-General of Police, IGP Usman Alkali, has rated that there is absolute need to review evolving political programmes laid down by the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) and chart clear pathways for a smooth electoral process in the countdown to the 2023 General Elections. IGP Alkali made this known during an interactive section with Commissioners of Police and above at the Force Headquarters Abuja. Alkali, charged the officers  to boost the security of their public space towards guaranteeing a crime-free and enabling environment for political campaigns and other components of the electoral process. He noted that this was paramount following the announcement by the INEC for the commencement of electioneering campaigns by all political parties from September 28, 2022. The National Political space will become very active and susceptible to increased politically related offences. The IGP tasked all Strategic Police
