Zakaa Call For Calm And Caution Over Planned Protest

Br Our Reporter  The Chairmanship aspirant under the umbrella of All Progressive Congress (APC)  Hon. Zakaa Lazarus Aondoakaa,  has called on youths and well meaning Nigerians to remain calm and ignore the planned national protest scheduled for August 1, 2024.  Zakaa who is contesting the number one sit of Ushongo Local Government  Area of Benue State, also  noted that the planned protest is being planned by faceless people as against previous protests where those behind them were well known. "The persons behind the protest, the sponsors and their facilitators, are not known.  Who is those  behind the so-called protesters? We need to know. Police Gun Down 6 Bandits in Benue, Arrests Usman Hardo, a Wanted Kidnapper in Nasarawa State

From Aviashima Toom, Abuja  SAHEL ReportersNews: Police authorities in Benue State have eliminated 6 bandits who were tormenting the Sankara region, comprising Katsina/Ala, Ukum, and Logo local government areas of the State. The operation was executed by the men of Operation Zenda, a joint security task force in the state. Mrs Catherine Anene, the spokesman of the command disclosed this in a statement. She said that the task force, acting on an intelligence report, stormed a bandit camp in Mbavuur ward, Logo LGA. According to Anene, the operation led to a gun duel with the criminal elements, which resulted in the deaths of six bandits. The fleeing members of the group are still being pursued. Recovered from the scene were one AK-47 rifle and two locally fabricated short guns loaded with ammunition. The bodies of the neutralized bandits were deposited at NKST Ugba morgue. .    IGP Form Aviashima Toom, Abuja  SAHEL ReportersNews: The Nigeria Police Force and the Police Service Commission have finally reached an agreement regarding the final merit list for the recruitment of Police Constables into the Nigeria Police Force.  This was contained in a statement issued on Tuesday by the Force Public Relations Officer ACP Olumuyiwa Adejobi in Abuja.
