Group Condemns Campaign of Calumny Against Tukur El-Sudi

A group under the eagie of Concern APC Youth Taraba state has called on some political leader to embrace peace rather than fanning the embers of discord capable of igniting crises amongst members of the party in Taraba State.

The also condemned in strong term the campaign of Calumny against the Taraba State Chairman, Ibrahim Tukur El-Sudi.

Convener of the group, Adamu Garba in a statement said that the  Campaign of calumny and character assassination against the chairman, from an alleged protest sponsored groups parading themselves as APC EXCO at the APC National Secretariat Abuja was  likely to embarrass or have adverse effects on the party or can bring the party to ridicule and hatred of which any of the above mentioned activity is an offence, contain in Article 21 of the APC Constitution
2014 as  amended.

"It is highly disheartening that people who are supposed to be elderstatemen in the party will be sponsoring campaign of calumny against the sitting Chairman at a time that we have to join forces chase away the opposition party (PDP) from Taraba State government house.

"Furthermore, this unwarranted sponsored media engagement aimed at tarnishing the image of hon. Chairman (El-Sudi) is a high level show of irresponsibility on the part of the leaders who are sponsoring it.

"Consequently, Hon. El-Sudi has been reportedly targeted by these desperate and self-centered politicians in Taraba State and their proxies with the worst kind of Character assassination, solely because he stands for justice, equity and fare play and refused to do their biding.

"As a result of the above, there were several attempt by these leaders through their representatives and surrogate to do everything within their powers to hinder him (El-Sudi) from becoming the APC Chairman Taraba State. For example they obtained different Court Orders to restrain him from becoming the APC Chairman and calling him with malicious names amongst others. But when all these failed they (desperate politicians) now resorted to sponsor sklombo/(thugs) boys in Abuja to  stage a protest against him at the APC National Secretariat Abuja (Buhari House) all in the bid to achieve their selfish interest.

"At this juncture, may we use this opportunity to call on these leaders to stop fanning the ember of discord and instigating crisis within our dear party which is likely to embarrass or have adverse effects on the party or can bring the party to ridicule and hatred of which any of the above mentioned activity is  an offence, contain in Article 21 of the APC Constitution
2014 as  amended". He said

Residents of FCT Pass Vote of Confidence on Wike

From Aviashima Toom, Abuja Coalition of FCT Indigenous Groups and FCT Resident Associations has passed a vote of confidence on the  FCT Minister, Bar. Nyesom Wike. The group also  urged him to continue his good works in the nation’s capital, saying the original inhabitants and the entire people of FCT were solidly behind him. The convener of the group, Adeyeye Olugbenga, made the call during a peaceful rally at the Federal Capital Development Authority (FCDA) Abuja, on Thursday.  The group called on President Bola Tinubu to ignore calls to remove Wike as the FCT Minister. The group said ” Some people have alleged that the FCT under Barr Wike has become the epicentre of controversy. They further questioned his land reforms and claimed that he was involved in land grabbing and dispossessing people of their properties. Hybrid Solar Panel Factory Soon To Take Off in Makurdi

From Aviashima Toom The Benue State Government has entered into partnership with the Shanghai Haitian Hospital, to facilitate academic and clinical interchange between Benue State University Teaching Hospital, Makurdi, in the areas of joint studies, training activities, and other educational exchanges of mutual interest. The government has also entered into partnership with Sinoki System Limited, for the establishment of a Hybrid Solar Panel Factory in Benue State. Signing the two Memorandums of understandings (MOUs) at the Old Banquet Hall of the Benue State Government House, Makurdi on Monday, Governor Hyacinth Alia said he was excited and optimistic that the partnerships will open many more doors of investments in the State, adding that his administration is willing to welcome more investors into the state.
