Adamawa 2027: Haske Submits Forms, Unveils Development Agenda

A governorship aspirant in the 2027 Adamawa State election, Abdurrahman Haske, has formally submitted his nomination forms and unveiled his development agenda ahead of the party primaries.

Speaking to journalists shortly after completing the submission process, Haske dismissed concerns about his age, insisting that competence, experience, and capacity to deliver should remain the major criteria for leadership.

“Judging me by my age alone is actually not fair,” he said. “I have served this country diligently across different sectors — from oil and gas to agriculture and telecommunications. All of this is well documented in my CV.”

The aspirant disclosed that he had fulfilled all requirements stipulated under the Electoral Act and submitted the necessary documents for screening ahead of the primaries.

“I have done all the necessary requirements. I have submitted my documents, and we will allow the process to take shape and guide us on the next steps,” he stated.

On the possibility of consensus arrangements within the party, Haske expressed confidence in the internal democratic process of the party, saying he remains optimistic about securing the ticket through a transparent process.

Outlining his vision for the state, he said his administration would prioritize economic growth, youth empowerment, and continuity in governance.

“I am focused on creating an enabling environment for businesses to thrive — where young men and women can succeed. We are building a new Adamawa State, and our priority is Adamawa first,” he said.

Haske also pledged to consolidate on the achievements of the current administration led by Ahmadu Umaru Fintiri.

“We will build from where His Excellency has stopped and ensure that we create a greater Adamawa together,” he added.

With the submission of his forms, Haske joins the growing list of aspirants positioning themselves ahead of what is expected to be a keenly contested 2027 governorship race in Adamawa State.
