Aviashima Toom, Abuja The State Chairman of the All Progressives Congress (APC), Comr Austin Agada, today in Kwande Local Government  performed one of his first official assignment as he reunites former House of Assembly member representing Kwande West State constituency, Hon Hemen Borko with the APC family.  Others he received were Mr Felix Shom State secretary of the Social Democratic Party (SDP) , Emmanuel Jumper, a Unionist and politician and others who dump their party for the APC.  Agada promised to do more of reunion and decamping to ensure the APC takes over leadership from the faid government of PDP in the state, an ensure Benue People enjoy divident of Democracy like other state in 2023.  The fomer House of Assenbly Member, Hon Borko who reunited with the APC with thousands of his supporters, promised that the APC will win all elections in Kwande come 2023.

By Our Reporter The Benue  Government has signed a contract of N149.31million for the procurement of a 20 Kilowatt FM Transmitter for Radio Benue, Makurdi with Knicks Engineering Limited, Abuja. The contract was signed on Friday in Makurdi in the Office of the Chief of Staff to the governor of Benue, Dr Tivlumun Nyitse while the Head of Service, Mrs Veronica Onyeke was there as a witness.    The Permanent Secretary, Ministry of Information, Culture and Tourism, Dr Beatrice Tsavmbu before signing the contract agreement,  said that the installation of a new transmitter for the station would make it reach wider audience against the present situation of the station.  Meanwhile, the Director-General (DG) of the station, Dr Charles Iornumbe, commended Gov. Samuel Ortom for ensuring that the station got a new transmitter and other essential equipment. Iornumbe further said that it had been the desire of Ortom to procure and install a new transmitter for station long ag

By Aviashima Toom, Abuja There seem to be  tension as the All Progressives Congress (APC) as its Caretaker/ Extraordinary Convention Planning Committee Inaugurates state executive chapters today at Buhari House, its national secretariat.  Sahel Reporters report revealed that chieftains of the party are poised for a showdown with the APC CECPC led by Yobe State governor, Mai Mala Buni.  Investigation however revealed that parallel congresses were conducted in many states, particularly in states under its control where governors, serving ministers, and federal lawmakers have been embroiled in leadership tussles for control of state chapters.  Top on the list of states where the party is heavily fractured include, Zamfara, Kano, Ogun, Kwara, Osun, Oyo, Delta, Akwa-Ibom, among others.  The APC CECPC held a crucial meeting, on Wednesday, ahead of the inauguration of the state executive fixed for today (Thursday).  Some of the governors, who incidentally are members o
