President Buhari has given Nigerian Army significant welfare support -- Yahaya

By Our Reporter The Chief of Army Staff, Lt Gen. Faruk Yahaya said the standard of welfare support received by the Nigerian Army under President Muhammadu Buhari was tremendous and commendable. VSF Donates Relief Materials to IDPs in Benue State

By Our Reporter  Mr Sunday Oyibe, a team member of Victims Support Fund (VSF), said VSF distributed food and other household items to 1,000 Internally Displaced Persons (IDPs) households in Naka, Gwer West Local Government Area of  Benue state Oyibe disclosed this in an interview with newsmen on Tuesday in Naka, the headquarters of Gwer LGA of the state. Oyibe emphasized that some households had dependants ranging from seven to even 15 or more. "So, if you multiply the number of dependants with 1,000 households you will see that a huge number of persons will benefit from the VSF gesture. "We have given them rice beans, garri, palm and vegetable oil among several other household items," Oyibe said. He disclosed that VSF was to providing food items, medical and non medical consummables to seven LGAs in the state. Henkel reduces acute water shortage for over 200 people in Zaria

By Aviashima Toom Henkel, in partnership with An-Nadaa, a non-profit organisation has built a well that will provide water to more than 200 people in Zaria, Kaduna state. The well has been successfully established and started operating on 1 August 2022. It was built as part of Henkel’s employee social engagement programme, Make An Impact on Tomorrow (MIT). MIT encourages employees to take the initiative and support social engagement.
