Save the Children in collaboration with BIC Distributes 100,000 Learning Materials to schools in Borno, Cross River states

Over 320M Be Expended on Skills Acquisition, IDPs Support in Benue -UNDP

By Aviashima Toom The United Nations Development Programme UNDP, with support from the Japanese governent is to expend N320 million to equip Benue youths with practical skills that can make them self reliant as well as support for Internally Displaced Persons, IDPs in Benue state. Resident representative of the UNDP, Mr. Muhammed Yahaya, who announced this today during a courtesy call on Governor Samuel Ortom in Makurdi said N200 million has been earmarked for skills acquisition while N120 million would be invested to scale up access to livelihoods to communities affected by conflict including IDPs. He explained that the funds when released, would also help Benue youths to acquire the requisite technology in all the Agriculture value chain with the aim of promoting participation in the sector that has the capacity to transform lives. Takes Delivery of 50,000 Doses of COVID-19 Vaccines .....approves monthly pensions remittance By Aviashima Toom The Benue state government yesterday announced that it has taken delivery of 50,000 doses of COVID-19 Vaccines for use by people of the State. Commissioner for Information, Culture and Tourism, Rt. Hon.
